Day 1 | Fundamentals of Particle Size Analysis:

- Different methods of particle analysis
- Representation of particle size distributions
Day 2 | Laser Diffraction:
- Fundamentals of laser diffraction
- Sample dispersion: dry and wet methods
- Application and limits of laser diffraction
- Evaluation methods: comparing Fraunhofer vs. MIE theory
- Hands-on: you will perform with professional guidance HELOS measurements with specialized procedures for dry and wet samples
Day 3 | Dynamic Image Analysis:
- Fundamentals of dynamic image analysis
- Capabilities and limitations of image analysis in particle measurement technology
- Determining and evaluating diameters and shape factors
- Hands-on: you will perform with professional guidance QICPIC measurements with specialized procedures for dry and wet samples
