Niedersachsen-Technikum at Sympatec
In order to promote women in STEM jobs (science, technology, engineering, math), the state of Lower Saxony has convened a programme for young women.
Immerse into the world of technology
The Niedersachsen-Technikum is aimed at female high school graduates and offers an opportunity for orientation: In order to get a taste of STEM professions before studying or training, they get the chance to take a look at technical working life at cooperating companies.
Sympatec has also been part of the programme since the winter semester 2021/2022. Our technical student Alma completed her “Technikum” with us in the Research & Development department. She applied through our partner university TU Clausthal. Together with her mentor Jana, she worked on a SPRAYER project for our HELOS laser diffraction series. HELOS & SPRAYER are used, for example, in the development of pump-dispensing atomisers for nasal sprays.

The “Technikum” lasts 6 months and takes place every year from September to February. Applications for the next round can be submitted at any time via the participating colleges and universities. It is a pleasure for us to welcome “Technikantinnen” to Sympatec in the future.
